On discrete, ivy draped screens, we'll show the summers main sporting fixtures, highlights of key music festivals and the odd eccentric garden scene. Other special events are listed below starting with launch night on Friday 26th June. For the remainder of the season our garden gates will open daily from noon and close around midnight.

We have a few special events planned for the duration of our Summer Garden, including the return of Sabotage Comedy events, Designer Jumble Sales, a singles event and, Book Clubs…but first, our Gold Party.
The idea is beautifully simple. Bring all your unwanted gold, silver and platinum…broken necklaces, single earrings, gifts from ex-partners, or items that you know you’ll never wear again. It’s a bring-and-sell-party.
A representative from Ounces to Pounds will weigh your unwanted gold, and they then pay you … right there and then. Gold prices are near an all time high, so let’s take advantage of this and dig through our jewellery (ahem!…cufflink) boxes today.
The afternoon event will, of course, be held in the Summer Garden and set to an east London soundtrack of suitably Gold anthems. In line with the colour theme, we will serve Pimms, along with a wide selection of sparkly, shining cocktails and nibbles.

The Andaz Summer Garden is set to host an afternoon of catfights and bargain mayhem as London's fashionistas descend for our Designer Jumble Sale.
Laden with labels, our stalls will put the W.I's village hall efforts to shame (or shade!) Hosting a table is free, but we do ask that sellers (or swappers - it's your call), bring only 'designer' or fashion forward highstreet items - be they last season's left-overs, unwanted gifts or expensive mistakes you want to recoup some of your losses on.
The event will be fueled with cocktails and (size-zero friendly) nibbles from the garden bar, with background music reminiscent of our favorite fashion decades and icons.
Rumors abound meanwhile, that certain London fashion journalists and stylists will be using the event as an opportunity to credit crunch their the fashion cupboard s….and we can already guarantee items by Marc Jacobs and Chloe!
Within the garden will be a HABs (husbands and boyfriends) area showing testosterone related sports and music festival footage on concealed Plasma screens.
